The Tennessee Vols’ coaching staff is going through a bit of an overhaul right now.

It’s no secret that most Vols fans want to see a new offensive line coach on Rocky Top next season.

Tennessee’s current offensive line coach Don Mahoney has been with Butch Jones since 2007 at Central Michigan.

But things haven’t gone very well for Mahoney at Tennessee.

The Vols’ offensive line hasn’t developed at the pace that you’d expect an SEC caliber offensive line to develop.

In fact, the line hasn’t really improved at all.

Jones often-times finds himself throwing different combinations into the game, just trying to see what sticks.

The Vols have plenty of talent. The roster is full of SEC caliber talent.

Tennessee, however, might need to hire a new offensive line coach to develop that talent (Mahoney, for what it’s worth, has a contract that is expiring).

Here are five coaches (from outside the program) that we think would be a good fit for the Volunteers.

Current offensive assistant Walt Wells should also be considered a viable candidate to replace Mahoney.
