The Tennessee Vols are continuing to hand out scholarship offers ahead of their annual Orange and White spring game.

Thomas Booker, a 2018 four-star defensive end, tweeted on Wednesday that he received a scholarship offer from the Tennessee Vols.

Booker, 6’4″/280 lbs from Baltimore, MD (Gilman), is rated by 247Sports as the 12th best player in the state of Maryland and the 14th best strong side defensive end in the nation.

In addition to his offer from Tennessee, Booker also holds offers from Clemson, Maryland, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and Virginia Tech, among several others.

So far there have been five 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions made for Booker. Two of those predictions have Stanford landing Booker, which is interesting because the Maryland native doesn’t hold an offer from the Cardinal.

There are also two predictions which have Notre Dame landing Booker. One prediction has Booker committing to Michigan.

It’s clear that Booker is a coveted recruit. As a rising senior in high school, he already has tremendous size.

In fact, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him play inside at the next level.

Either way, defensive line depth is always important, which makes Booker a player the Volunteers would love to land.
