The Tennessee Vols are hoping lowered expectations will make for better results in 2017.

Butch Jones and the Tennessee Vols will enter the 2017 season with significantly lower expectations than they did in 2016.

But that could actually be a good thing for the Vols.

Tennessee, with Jones at the helm, has been at its best when its back is against the wall.
