The Tennessee Titans will begin their preseason slate of games tonight as they take on the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field at 7:00 PM Central.

The wait is over!! Tonight will be the first time fans can catch the Tennessee Titans in action this season, as they will face off against the Green Bay Packers in Week One of the NFL Preseason. Not only will tonight be the first time that Mike Vrabel and the coaching staff will take the field, but it will also be the first time the Titans show off their new jerseys.

Depth Chart

Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans released their first unofficial depth chart of the season on Monday, August 6th looking ahead to the Packers game.

Taywan Taylor will be at one of the starting receiver spots, for now, considering Rishard Matthews is still on the PUP list. Not much has changed with the offensive line for the Titans, except that Dennis Kelly will be filling in for Jack Conklin at right tackle for now. Derrick Henry is listed at the starting running back, but I’m sure we will see Henry and Dion Lewis share a good amount of touches tonight.

It will be a good night for Titans fans, as they will get to see the debut of a few new Titans players. Malcolm Butler will be starting at cornerback tonight. Draft picks Rashaan Evans, Harold Landry, Dane Cruikshank, and Luke Falk will likely make their debuts tonight against the Green Bay Packers.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers also released their unofficial depth chart on Monday, looking ahead to tonight’s game against the Titans.

To no surprise, Aaron Rodgers will be the starting QB for the Packers, as he returns from a broken collarbone that sidelined him for much of the 2017 season. Former Vanderbilt star Oren Burks is listed at one of the starting inside linebacker spots as a rookie.

Predictions

With it being the first preseason game for both teams, first time guys likely won’t see too much action tonight, but it will be good to see the Titans for the first time under Vrabel and staff. It will be interesting to see what OC Matt Lafleur and DC Dean Pees have planned for tonight’s preseason matchup against the Packers. The first team will likely see up to a quarter of action during tonight’s game.

It’s hard to determine a team off of preseason games, but the Titans surely want to come out making a name for themselves. After making it to the playoffs last season, and improving in a few spots, including coaching, the Titans have another good chance to make some noise and go back to the playoffs. The Tennessee Titans have so far slid under some analysts radar, especially after the success of the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Deshaun Watson-led Houston Texans.
