Get Preston Williams and Jauan Jennings Involved

If there is an area of concern for Alabama it is their secondary. You couldn’t tell that last week as the Bama Secondary had more touchdowns thrown to them by Texas A&M quarterbacks than Aggie receivers. If Bama doesn’t score those touchdowns defensively that game would have been closer.

I look for Tennessee to get the ball in the flats to Hurd and Kamara via the short passing game. I think this will the most effective way to get these two difference makers some space. But in order to do so, the wide receivers will have to be feared.

If the Tide safeties and corners do not have to worry about being beaten deep, again it will be a long day. These two receivers for Tennessee can stretch the field, but Dobbs has to have time to get the ball to them. This goes back to the offensive line of course. But Tennessee can make plays downfield on these guys. They just have to believe, and they have to take the shots.

Dobbs will have to give these two receivers a chance to make the play. Alabama will play a lot of man to man. The receivers will be covered as the Tide defenders are really good. But the athleticism and height of the Vol receivers can be an advantage in battling for the ball. Dobbs needs to trust that these two will come down with it. Just get it in the vicinity.
