It can be hard to express yourself in the NFL, given the strict uniform rules. But Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota found a way at practice this week.

Some NFL players couldn’t care less about what they look like on the field.

But others, such as Cam Newton, use their style to show off their personality.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota doesn’t seem to have a “loud” personality, but that doesn’t mean he fails to express his sense of fashion.

Just check out these shoes that Mariota wore to practice this week.

Honestly, I have no idea what’s going on here.

I see a splash of Titans blue in there. But otherwise, I’m at a loss.

They almost look like an ode to “The Da Vinci Code” or some other reference to the illuminati.

Perhaps Mariota knows something about the state of the NFL that we don’t?

Probably not the case, but it’s still fun to speculate on whatever the hell those are on Mariota’s feet.

In case you were wondering, by the way (and I know that you are), Mariota is still rocking the mustache for “Movember”.

Last week we told you that Mariota should keep the mustache because of how well the Titans were playing.

Well, it looks like we were wrong.

The Titans’ loss to the Colts last week means the mustache needs to go ASAP.

Fortunately for fans of the Tennessee Titans, an unraveled Bears team is on the schedule this week.

After that, December is the on the horizon, which means the mustache will be nothing more than a memory.
