Tennessee Vols running back Alvin Kamara had one of the best touchdown runs of his career on Saturday night against the Vanderbilt Commodores.

Fans of the Tennessee Vols have wondered for a while why Alvin Kamara hasn’t been featured more in Butch Jones’ offense.

There’s not a good answer as to why he hasn’t been.

Because Kamara is a special talent that doesn’t come around very often.

And he showed that again on Saturday night against Vanderbilt.

Kamara, who opened the scoring against the Commodores with a 14 yard touchdown run, had one of the plays of his career late in the first quarter.

There are no words to even describe how hard Kamara runs.

And this also makes me wonder even more why the hell Kamara wasn’t the primary running back for the Vols all season.

This kid is special and there’s no doubt he would’ve been in the Heisman conversation.

But unfortunately for Vol fans, Kamara will likely declare for the NFL Draft after this season.

Kamara, who is projected go anywhere from the second to fourth round in the draft, will probably be a surprise to NFL fans.

Vol fans, however, already know what a special talent Kamara possesses.

Hopefully Kamara will love the college life so much that he can’t pass up staying another season.
