Beat Alabama

Tennessee ended their 11 year losing streak to Florida this past season.

That means the Vols’ longest SEC losing streak is now to Alabama.

Tennessee hasn’t beat Alabama since 2006, when Phillip Fulmer and Mike Shula were patrolling the sidelines.

The Vols have to head back to Tuscaloosa in 2017, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Tennessee has only had two close games against Alabama in the last ten years.

Both of those games took place in Tuscaloosa.

The Vols were a blocked field goal away from beating a dominant Alabama team in 2009.

In 2015, Tennessee led Alabama in the fourth quarter, before ultimately losing 19-14.

So it’s definitely possible that UT could go to Bama and pull the upset.

And what a gift that would be to Vol fans.
