Just Missed The Cut

Huntin, Fishin And Lovin Every Day — Luke Bryan

I Met A Girl — William Michael Morgan

Think Of You — Chris Young (Featuring Cassadee Pope)

It was hard to escape these songs in 2016.

Yet when they came on country radio, there was no desire to flip stations.

Bryan’s “Huntin, Fishin and Lovin Every Day” is full of country music cliche. But it feels genuine, even from Bryan, who’s took his fair share of shots from traditional country music fans.

“I Met A Girl”, the debut single from Mississippi native William Michael Morgan, is a song that grows on you after a while. At first you might not really notice the song, but eventually you realize it’s stuck on a loop in your head.

If you listen to country radio for more than 30 minutes, it’s almost a certainty that you’ll hear Chris Young’s “Think of You”, a wonderful duet with Cassadee Pope.

The tune is not only incredible catchy, but it hits close to home for anyone who’s been through a breakup after a long-term relationship.
