There weren’t many songs that hit closer to home in 2016 than Tim McGraw’s “Humble & Kind”.

It was refreshing in a year, where hate was so prevalent, to hear this song.

Sure, it’s simple. Some might even call it cheesy. But the advice that it gives is appropriate no matter where you live in the world.

“Humble & Kind” won song of the year at the 2016 CMA Awards. It’s also nominated for country song of the year at the 59th annual Grammy Awards.
