Larry Scott

Current tight ends coach at Tennessee

Larry Scott is a former interim head coach at Miami that has interviewed for several head coaching jobs this off-season.

That might make Scott seem attractive as an offensive coordinator candidate at Tennessee.

But you have to consider that Scott’s never been an offensive coordinator at the collegiate level.

Scott is a tremendous coach. He’s someone that Butch wants to keep on the staff.

But giving a guy his first offensive coordinator job, at the SEC level, seems like too big of a gamble to take.
