Matt Rhule

Current head coach at Baylor

Matt Rhule, like PJ Fleck, is another young up-and-coming coach that just landed a new job.

Except the job the Rhule landed (Baylor) could be considered Elite by some folks’ standards.

It’s obviously very unlikely that Rhule will leave Baylor after one season. However, a chance to coach in the SEC at a school with some of the best facilities in the nation might be too tempting to turn down.

Rhule was hired at Baylor after doing a tremendous job as the head coach at Temple.

The Owls went from winning two games in Rhule’s first season as head coach, to winning ten games in the each of the past two seasons.

Rhule doesn’t have any experience in the SEC, and he hasn’t had a job where he’s recruited the top players in the nation. That is perhaps the biggest question surrounding the young head coach.
