Donald Trump and the Tennessee Vols’ worlds briefly collided on inauguration day.

Unless you live in a cave without cell phone service/internet access (and if you do, how the hell are you reading this?!?!), then you know Donald Trump was sworn in as the nation’s 45th president on Friday.

No worries, there’s no political talk ahead. I’m sure we’ve all had enough of that today (and the last year).

But there was actually a brief moment on Friday where Trump asked about the Vols.

Tennessee’s Pride of the Southland Marching Band was in Washington on Friday for the events of the day.

Trump noticed the size of the band, and then asked whoever was next to him how the Vols’ football team did this season (thanks to @c_lundy1 for capturing this clip).

You don’t need very good lip reading skills to catch what Trump says.

Regardless of your political thoughts or affiliation, you have to admit it’s kind of cool/humorous to see Trump ask about the Vols’ football team in the middle of his inauguration.

By the way Donald, the Vols went 9-4 this season. Those losses to South Carolina and Vanderbilt were especially brutal 🙁
