Quincy Wilson — Cornerback — Florida

Tennessee has to draft a cornerback in 2017. They don’t have a choice.

The Titans’ secondary was not very good in 2016. It’s probably what kept them from making the playoffs.

Quincy Wilson is a guy that could start out of training camp for the Titans.

Wilson is a bit of an under-the-radar guy, but he’s solid in pass coverage, and he seems to just gravitate toward the ball. He’s a guy that will make big plays on defense.

It’s also apparent from watching Wilson that he’s not afraid to help in run support. He’s a pretty solid tackler.

I think it’s a gamble for the Titans to draft Mike Williams and then hope for a cornerback like Wilson to still be there at 18, but I think it’s worth taking the chance.

If the Titans can land Williams and Wilson in the first round, and address both of those needs, then it really doesn’t matter what they do the rest of the draft.

(Ok it does, but you get the point.)
