Tim Williams — Linebacker/Defensive End — Alabama

This would be a very interesting selection for the Titans.

Tim Williams is another under-the-radarish type player.

He appears to be tailor made for a 3-4 defensive scheme, but I think he could be successful as a defensive end in a 4-3 scheme.

Williams is a fantastic pass rusher, he’s a guy with double digit sack potential in the NFL.

But his skills against the run leave a little to be desired.

With Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan on the roster, the Titans don’t have an immediate need here.

However, that’s what makes Williams so intriguing to me. He would have the luxury of playing behind Orakpo and Morgan, which would only help his development.

Plus it never hurts to have extra depth along your defensive line.
