The Tennessee Vols pulled off a big upset in Knoxville on Tuesday night.

Tennessee handed Kentucky their first conference loss of the season on Tuesday night at Thompson Boling-Arena.

Robert Hubbs led the way for the Vols with 25 points in the 82-80 win.

The win is easily the biggest of Rick Barnes’ brief tenure at UT.

Tennessee is now 11-9 on the season. An NCAA tournament bid is looking unlikely for the Volunteers, unless they can finish the season with three or less losses. But a win against a top five Kentucky team is almost as good as making the dance.
