It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Josh Palmer.

I feel this kid could be heavily targeted in the Vols’ passing game.

As I’ve said several times before, I absolutely love the way he runs his routes. He’s incredibly patient, letting the route develop, and switching up his speed off the line.

There should be plenty of opportunity for Palmer to make an impact as a true freshman, especially with the departure of Josh Malone.

Jauan Jennings and Tyler Byrd will likely be Tennessee’s starting wide receivers, but the Vols love to rotate receivers.

Palmer should be able to see immediate playing time in Knoxville next season. And if he does, I bet he ends up being a potential member of the SEC’s All-Freshman team.
