Tae Daley

Warner Robbins, GA (Northside)

Position: Safety

247Sports Rating: Three-star

247Sports Position Rating: 63

247Sports Overall Rating: 862

Tae Daley, who was an early enrollee at Vanderbilt, is a three-star safety that definitely flew under the radar a bit.

Daley signed with the Commodores over offers from Purdue, South Carolina, UCF, and Wisconsin, among a few others.

Vanderbilt fans likely consider Daley one of the marquee names in the 2017 recruiting class, which probably makes you wonder why he’s on this list.

Personally, I don’t think Daley has received enough recognition. He’s a big get for the Commodores, and he’s a player that I think will be a starter fairly soon for Vandy.

Daley is an athletic kid that has great natural instincts. He takes great angles to the ball, and he’s a solid open field tackler.

This is a kid that has the potential to be a key part of Derek Mason’s defense for the next four seasons.
