Running Back

Players signed:

  • Ty Chandler — Four-star
  • Tim Jordan — Three-star
  • Trey Coleman — Three-star

Grade: B+

I’ve learned to trust Butch Jones when it comes to running backs. He’s been pretty damn successful.

Ty Chandler is a guy that can come in and contribute from day one.

Given the Vols’ current depth chart, that’s likely what will happen.

And Tim Jordan is someone that, in my opinion at least, is very underrated. He’s a solid pass catcher that could add another dimension to Tennessee’s running game.

Trey Coleman could also easily rise up the depth chart and contribute early as a Vol.

This group of running backs isn’t the flashiest, but I think it’s a pretty solid haul for the Volunteers.
