Linebacker

Players signed:

  • Shanon Reid — Three-star
  • Will Ignont — Four-star
  • Marquez Bembry — Three-star
  • Solon Page III — Three-star

Grade: B

The linebacker group is similar to the defensive linemen group for me.

Will Ignont is the star of the show here. But I also have high hopes for Shanon Reid, a guy that I can see making an impact as an outside linebacker.

Marquez Bembry is a bit of a wildcard. He could end up being a defensive end, especially if the Vols need the depth there more.

Overall I think Tennessee signed some quality linebackers that will provide some much needed depth.

Injuries devastated the Vols at this position in 2016, exposing the team’s lack of depth.
