1. Tennessee 38 Florida 28 (2016)

There hasn’t been a bigger win in the last decade than Tennessee’s 2016 win against Florida.

The Vols fell behind 21-0 to Florida in the first half, leading fans to believe it would be 12 losses in a row to the Gators.

But Josh Dobbs and the Vols would have none of that.

Tennessee came out guns blazing in the second half (after that early turnover at least), and outscored Florida 35-7.

You can count me among those who wondered if Tennessee would ever beat Florida again.

The Vols had been close the past two seasons, they had the better team. But something always seemed to go wrong.

Tennessee’s 2016 season didn’t exactly go to plan for Butch Jones. But wins against Florida and Georgia at least give the Vols reason to celebrate.

Those wins proved Tennessee is at least back to being relevant in the SEC.

From here on out, they should be competing for the SEC East every year in and year out (as should have been the case the last decade).

Whether or not the Vols will be able to do that, will ultimately determine if Butch Jones will be in Knoxville for years to come.
