8. Tennessee 45 Virginia Tech 24 (2016)

The Battle at Bristol was one of the most hyped college football games of 2016.

That’s because it took place at a NASCAR track, and became the most attended college football game ever.

With a ton of attention on this game, it was important that Tennessee got a win.

Virginia Tech jumped out to an early 14-0 lead, but the Vols eventually took control and never looked back.

Helped along by several Hokies turnovers, Tennessee outscored Virginia Tech 45-10 in the final three quarters of action.

This was a huge win on the national stage for the Vols. The win also meant Vol fans would always be able to look back at this historic game with a smile on their face.
