6. Tennessee 24 Vanderbilt 17 (2014)

Who would’ve thought a win against Vanderbilt would ever belong on any “best of” list for the Vols?

But considering Tennessee is 2-3 in their last five games against Vandy, it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise.

The Vols’ 24-17 win against the Commodores in 2014 erased a two-game losing streak to their in-state rivals.

Tennessee’s win also clinched the Volunteers’ first bowl game appearance since the 2010 season.

Getting that first bowl game appearance was huge for Jones, and it appeased the fans after a season that saw Tennessee suffer tough losses against Oklahoma, Florida, and Georgia.
