3. Tennessee 34 Georgia 31 (2016)

Oh boy, this is one of the great Vol wins in the history of the University of Tennessee.

There were so many emotions during this game.

The Vols had already beat Georgia the season before, so there was no feeling of “breaking the streak” in this game. But it’s still a rivalry, which means there’s still always plenty on the line.

Tennessee looked like they had this one in the bag. But a 47 yard touchdown pass from Jacob Eason to Riley Ridley, with ten seconds remaining in the game, had it looking like it was another “oh so close” moment for the Vols.

Josh Dobbs and Jauan Jennings, however, had other plans.

A favorable kick return from Evan Berry set up a game winning 43 yard hail mary from Dobbs to Jennings.

It was such an enjoyable moment for Vol fans. It finally gave Vol nation a reason to celebrate an improbable moment.

Tennessee had been on the other side of those improbable moments far too many times in the last 7-8 years.
