Josh Malone — Wide Receiver

Projected draft range: Fourth to sixth round

And this is the other player from Tennessee that I’d love to see the Titans select.

Wide receiver is the other big position of need for the Titans.

Josh Malone is a guy that proved last season in Knoxville that he can stretch the field.

Another down the field threat would be a great addition for Marcus Mariota and the Titans’ offense.

I think the best case scenario in this situation is for the Titans to sign a veteran wide receiver (Victor Cruz perhaps). That way Malone gets some time to develop, without having to be a full time player from the start.

The only concern with Malone is that his junior season at Tennessee was his first productive season as a Vol.

Malone caught 50 passes for 972 yards in 2016. But he absolutely showed that he’s a playmaker, by catching 11 touchdown passes.

There’s something to be said about a guy that knows how to find the end zone.

Josh Malone could definitely turn into a consistent deep ball threat for the Titans.
