Calais Campbell

It appears the Arizona Cardinals are prepared to move on from Calais Campbell, due to the fact that he will a bit more expensive than he was last season.

The Titans, however, will have the money to pay Campbell, unlike the Cardinals.

Campbell, who will turn 31 by the start of the 2017 season, has played his entire career in Arizona. He’s been a stalwart in their 3-4 defense, making two Pro-Bowls during his career.

I know the Titans are more likely to spend money on a cornerback, rather than a defensive tackle, but they could still sign Campbell, while addressing their secondary.

Campbell is an exciting option for the Titans because he provides an upgrade to Tennessee’s interior run defense, while also providing an interior pass rush.

When it’s all said and done, I wouldn’t bet on the Titans signing Campbell. But he’s a player they should at least engage in discussions.
