Alshon Jeffery

Alshon Jeffery is very similar to Brandon Marshall — he’s a productive receiver, and a solid run blocker.

But he has dealt with various nagging injuries, and has some character concerns (a couple of things we recently touched on).

Plus, Jeffery wasn’t nearly as productive last season as his perceived market value suggests.

NFL.com says Jeffery will be looking to become the highest paid wide receiver in the league with his next deal.

But I don’t think he warrants that type of financial commitment.

Jeffery averaged only 68 yards per game last season.

Over the last two seasons, Jeffery has averaged a touchdown every 3.5 games.

Those aren’t numbers worthy of being the highest paid wide receiver in the league.

Jeffery would obviously be a nice player for the Titans to have on their team, but they can find better value elsewhere.
