Confidence can be a good thing, but it’s not always a smart thing.

The Tennessee Titans very well may be the team to beat in the AFC South in 2017.

They nearly won the division last season, and they should only be better this upcoming season.

Especially if they kill it in the draft and free agency. The sky really is the limit (or the ceiling is the roof, you know) for the Titans in 2017.

But I’m not sure that warrants getting a tattoo declaring the Titans as 2017 AFC South division champs.

I mean that’s not so terrible I guess. It’s not like he got a tattoo that declared the Titans as 2017 Super Bowl champs, but there’s a still a decent chance the Titans don’t win the division.

More from Tenn Truth

The Colts and the Texans are both going to be compete for the division title next season, so while the Titans might be the favorites, it’s anything but a given that they’ll take home the division crown.

Maybe this guy will look like a genius if the Titans win the division, but these things rarely work out for the good.

Either way, it’s never ever a good idea to this. I’m not a fan of it even if it’s post division championship.

Unless you’re a Chicago Cubs fan, it’s probably best to stay away from tattoos celebrating championships.
