Chance Warmack — Offensive Lineman

This is the other player on this list that’s quite obvious.

The Titans declined to pick up the option on Warmarck’s contract before the season, so it’s not a surprise that he isn’t expected to return to the team in 2017. Especially after a finger injury that landed him on IR last year.

Tennessee’s offensive line played much better with Josh Kline at guard after Warmack’s injury.

When you combine that with the fact that some folks in team management weren’t happy with Warmack opting for surgery instead of trying to return in 2017, you have the perfect reason for his departure.

Warmack, like Wright, is a former first round draft pick of the Titans, so this isn’t an easy decision to make. It’s essentially admitting failure with two of your first round draft picks.

But considering GM Jon Robinson wasn’t around when those picks were made, it’s probably not a big issue for him.
