Howard Wilson — Cornerback — Houston
The Titans addressed their big need at cornerback by signing Logan Ryan away from the New England Patriots.
However, the Titans are still thin in the secondary.
Howard Wilson is a player with a lot of raw upside, that needs some time to develop in the NFL.
Here’s what NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein says about Wilson:
"Smooth athlete with excellent length who has a long history of making plays on the football. Wilson is fast and fluid and he’s willing to do his part as a tackler, but he needs more muscle and more experience before he’s ready to handle some of the physical receivers he will see in the league. Wilson’s size, speed and ball skills will be coveted traits and they give him a chance to become a good NFL starter with time."
There are several solid corners in this range of the draft, but I like the potential Wilson offers to be a future starter in the NFL.
