Josh Dobbs — Quarterback — Tennessee

The Titans re-signed Matt Cassel this off-season to be the team’s primary backup.

But if something were to happen to Marcus Mariota longterm, I’m not sure Cassel is who you’d want under center.

Thats’ why drafting Josh Dobbs would be a good idea for the Titans.

The fifth round might be a touch early for Dobbs, but I think getting a backup quarterback that can run the same offense as Mariota is worth it.

Dobbs isn’t known as a great pure passer, but we also haven’t seen him play behind an offensive line like the one the Titans trot out on Sundays.

We might be surprised at what Dobbs can do with decent pocket protection.
