There’s a case of mistaken identity in Durham, NC.

A van that was recently spotted in Durham, NC would, at first glance, appear to the van of a company with a Tennessee Vols related business name.

But that’s not exactly the case.

The van with a Checkerboard paint scheme is the property of a company called “Tar Heel Linen Service”.

Yeah, that’s a bit odd.

I would’ve guessed “Rocky Top Linen”, or “Vol-linen-ium” (clever, right?).

Honestly, I have no idea what the origin of this company is, but I would assume it’s a company started by Tennessee fans who live in North Carolina.

Or perhaps the company was started by a Tennessee fan and a North Carolina fan, and this was their compromise.

(If anyone from Tar Heel Linen happens to read this, please reach out to us and let us know the story behind the van color/name.)

Either way, it’s a pretty awesome color scheme for a company van (that doesn’t know how to park, by the way).

I’m also pretty certain you’d never see a van in Knoxville with a Carolina or Duke blue color scheme.
