5. Miami Dolphins

I’m a bit higher on the Dolphins than most, but it’s because I think they took tremendous steps forward under Adam Gase last season.

Miami didn’t make any “splash moves” in free agency, but they did make smart moves, frugal moves.

Re-signing Kenny Stills was key, as he’s proved to be one of the top playmakers in the AFC South.

I’m not sure the Dolphins are ready to compete with New England for the AFC South title, but they should be a playoff team in 2017.
