Corey Davis — Wide Receiver — Western Michigan

Corey Davis is my favorite wide receiver in the draft, and I imagine, given Jon Robinson’s love of production, that Tennessee might feel the same way.

The only problem is that Davis might not be a realistic option for the Titans because of their draft position.

Davis isn’t going fifth overall. There are too many other talented players ahead of him (especially defensive players), but he might not fall to the 18th pick.

Recent projections have Davis going in the 10-15 range (but that’s close enough to 18 that he’s definitely on the Titans’ radar).

Here’s what NFL.com has to say about Davis:

"Touchdown juggernaut who was a four-year model of production and consistency in college. Davis has the route-running and ball skills to become a starter in the league, but it is his competitiveness and production in the red-zone that should make him a good one."

I know we all reach to make player comparison before the draft, but I can see Davis having Antonio Brown like potential in the NFL. He has all the tools to be one of the better all-around wide receivers in the league.
