5. Kendall Wright — Wide Receiver

Round 1 Pick 20 (2012)

Kendall Wright enjoyed a modest rookie season with the Titans, before breaking out (at least we thought) during his second year in the league.

Wright looked like he was future of the wide receiver position for the Titans after a 2013 season that saw him catch 94 passes for 1,079 yards.

Unfortunately for the Titans, that was the high point of Wright’s career with the team.

Wright’s production went down each of the next three seasons.

In 2016, the former Baylor wide receiver caught only 29 passes for 416 yards.

It got so bad this past season, that Wright was a healthy scratch on several different occasions.

Wright signed with the Chicago Bears after the 2016 season.

Players the Titans could’ve selected instead of Wright:

  • David DeCastro
  • Dont’a Hightower
  • Harrison Smith
  • Janoris Jenkins
  • Alshon Jeffery
