4.125 — Josh Malone — Wide Receiver — Tennessee

The Titans’ other big team need this off-season is at wide receiver.

It’s unlikely that Mike Williams or Corey Davis will fall to the Titans in the first round, so the team might have to wait until the later rounds to find a wide receiver.

Fortunately for the Titans, Josh Malone is a mid round pick with first round talent.

Malone didn’t break out until his junior season at Tennessee, but he proved to be a big play threat.

He also proved he’s a threat to score anytime he’s on the field. The Tennessee native caught 11 touchdowns in 2016.

The Titans are a run first team, so they don’t necessarily need stars at the wide receiver position to be successful.

What they do need, however, is a big play threat to keep teams honest and set up play action.

Malone is a player that can provide that. He has NFL size and speed (6’3″ and 4.40 speed) and should be able to make an impact relatively soon if he’s selected by the Titans.
