5.164 — Greg Pyke — Guard — Georgia

As you get into the later rounds of the draft, depth is typically what you’re looking to find.

Sure, there are players drafted in the later rounds that end up being Pro-Bowl starters, but that’s not very common.

The Titans have a solid offensive line, but depth can quickly erode at a position that’s the most physically engaging on the field.

Greg Pyke is unlikely to become a consistent starter in the NFL, but he does have a wealth of SEC experience (at guard and tackle). The former Georgia Bulldog could provide quality depth for the Titans.

Here’s what NFL.com says about Pyke:

"Gritty and determined. Fights as hard as he can on each play. Has starting experience at both guard and tackle. Comfortable lateral movement when asked to pull. Gets out in front as puller or in screen passes with good pace."

This wouldn’t be a flashy pick for the Titans, but it would be a smart one.
