By Zach Ragan
Former Tennessee Titans linebacker Stephen Tulloch is calling it a career.
Stephen Tulloch, who spent the first five years of his career as a member of the Tennessee Titans, is retiring from the NFL.
Tulloch was drafted in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Titans.
The former NC State linebacker was never elected to a Pro-Bowl, but was a key part of the Titans’ defense for half a decade.
Tulloch never missed a game as a member of the Titans. He accumulated 457 tackles, 4.5 sacks and two interceptions during his time in Nashville.
His best season as a Titan came in 2010 when he totaled 160 tackles, one sack and one interception.
After Tulloch’s time with the Titans, he spent five years with the Detroit Lions.
One of Tulloch’s most infamous moments in the NFL came as a member of the Lions. Tulloch tore his ACL in 2014 after celebrating a sack of Aaron Rodgers.
Tulloch’s injury was a freak injury, one that could happen to anyone, but he will forever be remembered among those who have injured themselves while celebrating a big play.
