True Freshmen/Early Enrollees

Tennessee has five early enrollees that will be on the field for the Volunteers’ spring game.

And one of those early enrollees has fans extremely excited.

Trey Smith was the top recruit in the nation and he is expected to be a difference make along the Vols’ offensive line.

But Smith isn’t the only early enrollee that could contribute in 2017.

Linebacker Shanon Reid and defensive end Deandre Johnson could also have big roles as freshmen.

(I really like Johnson as a player that could have a big year as a true freshman.)

Offensive tackle Riley Locklear and quarterback Will McBride are the other early enrollees. Both are candidates to redshirt in 2017.
