Cam Sutton — Cornerback

Projection: Tennessee Titans — Third Round — Pick 83

It’s no secret the Titans are targeting a cornerback in the draft.

They’ll likely draft one in the first round, but I wouldn’t expect them to stop there. The Titans were in the market for a cornerback even before the release of Jason McCourty, but now it’s essential they draft a cornerback or two.

Sutton is yet another player that has first round talent. He’s going to slip to the second or third round because of some injury concerns — he missed six games as senior.

However, Sutton still has great coverage skills, something the Titans desperately need.

If Tennessee drafts a cornerback with their first pick, then it will give Sutton the benefit of flying under the radar. That seemed to benefit him as a three-star recruit in college.
