Wide Receiver — Marquez Callaway
Sophomore
Marquez Callaway only played in six games as a true freshman in 2016, catching one pass for 13 yards.
The Georgia native also returned a punt 62 yards for a touchdown against Tennessee Tech.
Callaway was singled out on Saturday by Butch Jones as a player that’s had a great spring.
Butch praising Marquez Callaway for having "as good of a spring of anybody on the team." Says WR's outside of Jennings will be "young"

The former four-star recruit from Georgia will have plenty of opportunities to step up in 2017.
Outside of Jauan Jennings, the Vols don’t have a lot of proven talent at the wide receiver position.
Callaway, however, is a wide receiver that has good size (6’2″), and plenty of speed (as evidenced by his 62 yard punt return last season).
Whoever wins the quarterback battle will have a solid deep threat in Callaway. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see Callaway pass Tyler Byrd (another solid option to break out in 2017) and become the Volunteers’ number two wide receiver this upcoming season.
