Alvin Kamara — Running Back

New Orleans Saints — Round 3 Pick 67

I don’t think there could’ve been a better landing spot for Alvin Kamara.

The Saints have a crowded backfield with Adrian Peterson, Mark Ingram, and Travaris Cadet on the roster, but that shouldn’t be a big issue for Kamara.

Kamara is an extremely versatile player, that can run the ball, catch the ball out of the backfield, or return punts.

The Saints are known for using running backs, such as Darren Sproles or Travaris Cadet, in creative ways. That means that Kamara could be on the field at the same time as Ingram and Peterson.

Kamara should immediately see action on special teams, and I think he will be involved in the offense fairly early for the Saints in 2017.
