Cam Sutton — Cornerback
Pittsburgh Steelers — Round 3 Pick 94
Cam Sutton won’t be a day one starter for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he should see a decent amount of playing time as a rookie.
The Steelers, according to Pittsburgh’s defensive backs coach Carnell Lake, will play more man coverage in 2017.
Sutton was excellent in man coverage at Tennessee. His ball skills were second to none in the SEC.
The former Vol, thanks to his excellent ball skills, should get on the field fairly early for the Steelers. He will probably play early in sub packages and provide depth.
Sutton, however, will also compete to see early playing time in the return game. Sutton was one of the better punt returners in the SEC while he was at Tennessee.
