Best Fans In College Football

I’ve been writing about college football for over four years now. I’ve interacted with numerous fan bases while covering games and through social media.

You might think I’m a bit biased, but there’s nothing like the unbridled passion of Vol fans.

Obviously that can be good and bad. Butch Jones has seen in the last six months just how passionate Vol fans are about winning.

But isn’t that what you want as a coach?

Imagine how it must feel to be the head coach at Wake Forest, where fans are mostly indifferent to the football team.

Tennessee fans are easily the best in the nation. They’re a smart group that knows football as well as any fan base in the country.

Vol fans are also a raucous group that help turn Neyland Stadium into one of the loudest sports venues on earth.

When Neyland is rocking, it’s one hell of a home field advantage.
