Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Corey Davis admitted he was a Chicago Bears fan before he became the fifth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Corey Davis spoke to Mid Day 180 on Friday afternoon and he had several interesting things to say.

Davis admitted that he used to be a fan of the Chicago Bears, but he says that changed when he began the pre draft process.

The former Western Michigan wide receiver had plenty of other things to say that Titans fans will love. Davis pointed out Tennessee’s two great running backs — DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry — and said he’s not afraid to block for them.

Davis also made a comment about how being drafted in the first round doesn’t matter.

If you’re a Titans fan, you have to love that comment from Davis. There have been plenty of players drafted in the first round that feel all they have to do is show up. But we’ve seen plenty of first round draft picks that flame out and never live up to their first round hype.

It sounds like Corey Davis is well aware that first being drafted in the first round doesn’t guarantee you anything.

Tennessee’s mini-camp gets underway on Friday.
