November 4 — Southern Mississippi @ Tennessee

This game against Southern Mississippi, wedged right in the middle of the Volunteers’ SEC schedule, could be the catalyst helps Tennessee end the season on a big winning streak.

By this point in the season, the Vols will likely be dealing with some injuries and this game will (hopefully) give them an opportunity to play some backups before the home stretch of the season.

Nothing is ever certain in college football, but I don’t think Tennessee will struggle in this one.

The Vols should become bowl eligible for the fourth straight season with this win.

Prediction: Tennessee wins (6-3)
