September 4 — Georgia Tech vs Tennessee

This game, which will take place in Atlanta, is an incredibly tough season opening game.

Georgia Tech is returning a ton of talent in 2017, so they won’t be an easy opponent to open the season with.

The Yellow Jackets, however, also have a quarterback battle on their hands. That’s something that could help benefit the Volunteers (they have their own battle, but this would be good for the Vols’ defense).

Tennessee has spent a lot of the off-season preparing for Georgia Tech’s triple option attack.

They won’t be surprised by what the Yellow Jackets do in this game.

Prediction: Tennessee wins (1-0)
