September 30 — Georgia @ Tennessee

Georgia is the one rival that Tennessee’s had decent success with over the last decade.

The Vols have beat the Bulldogs two years in a row, including last season’s miracle win in Athens.

Every season, however, presents a new team and a new challenge. Just because Tennessee won on the road last season, doesn’t mean they’re a lock to win in Knoxville this season.

Georgia’s Jacob Eason is one of the best young quarterbacks in the league, and he’s only going to be better in 2017.

Running backs Sony Michel and Nick Chubb and wide receiver Terry Godwin should help give the Bulldogs a dangerous offense.

Georgia’s defense was a big question mark last season, but there were a ton of underclassmen on that side of the ball. An extra year of experience should have the defense, under Kirby Smart, as one of the more improved units in the SEC.

Prediction: Georgia wins (3-2)
