Tennessee Vols 2017 Offensive Projections
By Zach Ragan
Jauan Jennings — Wide Receiver
Junior
61 Receptions — 971 Yards — 10 Touchdowns
Regardless of who wins the Vols’ quarterback battle this fall, the offense goes through Jauan Jennings.
Jennings, who signed with Tennessee as a quarterback, is the Volunteers’ best player on offense. With Josh Malone off to the NFL, Jennings should be in for a huge year.
The Murfreesboro native will not only be the spark plug for the Vols’ offense, but he will also be a safety valve for Quentin Dormady and Jarrett Guarantano. Anytime they’re in trouble, they’d be wise to find Jennings on the field. He’ll make a play.
I don’t think it’s out of the question that Jennings could surpass 1,000 yards next season, but I think Tennessee’s quarterback situation, while certainly not bad, will keep him just under that milestone.
