Tyler Byrd — Wide Receiver

Sophomore

37 Receptions — 424 Yards — 3 Touchdowns

Tyler Byrd played extremely well last season as a true freshman. Especially when you consider that he didn’t have the benefit of going through spring practice.

In 2017, with an entire year in the program under his belt, I think Byrd will take a big step forward, much like Jauan Jennings did last season.

Byrd caught 15 passes for 209 yards last season. It’s not a stretch to think that he will double those numbers, as he should be the number two option in the passing game.

The Florida native failed to score last season, but more targets in 2017 means he should find his way into the end zone a few times.
